Privacy Policy

Daylight OS collects information you provide when signing up and using the platform, including your name, email, and business information. We use this to operate and improve the service.
We do not sell your data. We do not share your information with third parties except as required to operate the service (e.g., cloud infrastructure, email delivery).
Google user data
If you choose to connect your Google account, Daylight OS accesses Google user data through Google Workspace APIs. Depending on which connections you authorize, this may include: your Gmail messages (to read, organize, and send email related to your business operations), your Google Drive files (to locate and read your business documents, and to create files such as invoices and reports on your behalf), your Google Sheets (to read and update your operational spreadsheets), and your Google Calendar (to read and manage events).
We use Google user data solely to provide the user-facing features of Daylight OS described above — building an operational picture of your business, surfacing what needs your attention, and performing work you have authorized. We do not use Google user data for advertising, and we do not sell it.
Daylight OS's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
AI/ML model training
Daylight OS does not use Google user data to develop, improve, or train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models. Content from your connected accounts is processed by our AI model provider (Anthropic) only as necessary to provide the user-facing features you have requested, under API terms that prohibit the provider from training models on that data.
Human access to your data
Humans do not read your Google user data except: with your explicit consent (for example, when you ask us for support on a specific item); when necessary for security purposes such as investigating abuse; to comply with applicable law; or when the data has been aggregated and anonymized for internal operations.
Storage, retention, and deletion
We retain data obtained from Google APIs only as long as needed to provide the service. You can disconnect your Google account at any time from your workspace settings, which stops all further access. You can also request deletion of your account and all stored data, including data derived from Google APIs, from your workspace settings or by emailing danny@daylight-os.com.
Your data is stored securely. You can export a copy of your data or request permanent deletion of your account and all associated data at any time from your workspace settings, or by emailing danny@daylight-os.com.
For information on how we process data on your behalf as a business, see our Data Processing Agreement.
We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be communicated via email.
